NEXVIAZYME
NEXVIAZYME (Avalglucosidase Alfa-ngpt) is an FDA-approved enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) used for the treatment of Pompe disease (glycogen storage disease type II) in adults and pediatric patients aged one year and older. Each 1×1 mL powder vial contains Avalglucosidase Alfa-ngpt, a recombinant human acid alpha-glucosidase enzyme designed to break down glycogen buildup in muscle cells, improving respiratory and muscular function over time.
Administered intravenously (IV) under professional supervision, NEXVIAZYME provides a targeted and sustained therapeutic approach to managing Pompe disease, helping enhance strength and mobility in affected individuals.
